Don’t Miss this Stunning Island

I had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Island of St Lucia over the summer.  I visited numerous hotels on my journey. My first stop was the gorgeous Viceroy Sugar Beach overlooking the gorgeous Pitons.

I arrived and was brought to my room by a three-wheeled wonder the Tuk, Tuk. It is a motorized cart that brings you around the resort. They are bright colored and fun. It adds an extra charm to this already charming resort. See one driving by flag it down for a ride.

Sugar Beach has four great restaurants. Cane Bar is my favorite serving a variety of sushi and sashimi. It is a chic atmosphere and has a Great bar.  If you are a real drinker they have an expansive rum collection to choose from.

The Great Room is a more fine dining experience in an elegant setting.  Bayside restaurant is a sand in your feet, have a cocktail and listen to live music feel.  A great spot to watch the sunset.  Last, eat breakfast and enjoy a cup of coffee at the Terrace overlooking the lily pond and ocean.

If you were looking for me while I was on my trip you could find me at the Rainforest Spa.  The treatment rooms are all treehouses.  The sound of nature is amazing as you get massaged with local fruit and plant essence.  It is pure relaxation. Make sure to visit the natural sulfur springs and waterfalls and get a mineral rub!

There really are so many things to keep you busy.  You can snorkel, relax by the pool, play croquet, play tennis or climb the gorgeous pitons.

Last if you decide to travel with your children.  The sugar club allows children ages 4 to 12 for treasure hunts, arts and crafts, sand castle building, fish feeding and tons more.  For older kids the Spice Club has video games, pinball machines, paddle boarding, kayaking and lots more fun!

Point being you should not miss out on the amazing island of St Lucia that offers everyone of all ages something to do.
